Monton Village Community Association

KEEPING MONTON GREEN,CLEAN AND SAFE
Monton Village has a very active Community Association (MVCA) where residents and traders work together to achieve the above aims.

What do we do for Monton?

 Installed CCTV with 24 hour monitoring on Monton Road with another one due in the next couple of months.

 This new website. Pages available free to all businesses in Monton

 Working to save the historic street lighting on two of the streets in Monton.

 Maintaining the flowerbeds on the
Green, putting up hanging baskets etc.

 Getting the Council to resolve any environmental issues that arise in the Monton
i.e. paving, litter etc.

 Liasing with our Community Police Officers on any issues that residents bring forward.

 Generally bringing to the Council any problems that arise in Monton and fighting to get them resolved.
