No not quite, 'Spotted', as the one referring to twenty-first century retailing was from me.

However I do agree with your comments on prices. In spite of Monton being supposedly a relatively affluent area of Salford, I'd guess the truth is that there are very few residents who see cost as not being a problem. Though I also guess that most would pay that bit more for quality in order to reduce wastage (like the current issue with 'eyes' in new potatoes, and eyes and skin causing high wastage in frozen supermarket chips).
