I believe the rock open jams that used to be at the Town Hall in Eccles moved to 'Wangies' in Patricroft, when the landlord moved from the TH to Wangies.
Hope this helps despite the late response.

Dan, it would certainly help if I knew consistently who it was I was talking to! You yourself have been spoofed more than once, myself I have been spoofed on many numerous occasions! Even to the point now where I see a new thread supposedly started by me which it definitely was Not! There's nothing 'nastier' than seeing your own name being ridiculed (although I'm pretty certain who the main offender is, and all I can say is that this is a very long time for that someone to bear an unfounded grudge!).
Truth is that everyone out there can be anyone they chose to be on this forum, you, me, moderator, MVCA, silly idiot, or whatever. There are far too many posts on here which supposedly came from me which actually did not. And they've also been spoofing my email address which was supposed to be my verification.
Provoke? No, I'm cautious as to whether this came from the Dan that I respect, or yet another imposter who gets a kick out of stirring things up.
